How to maintain veneers:
To keep your porcelain veneers looking their best, simply brush and floss as you normally would using non-abrasive toothpaste.
You may notice a bit of tooth sensitivity to hot and cold after the initial placement of your veneers. This is due to the amount of enamel left on the tooth after preparation. Tooth sensitivity is normal and should subside within a couple of weeks. If sensitivity continues longer than two weeks, please call us.
For patients who are prone to bruxism or teeth clenching during sleep, we can create a mouth guard for you which will minimize stress on your veneers while you sleep.
